The second batch of trains for the Bukit Panjang LRT consists of a fleet of 13 additional train cars to boost the capacity of the line by 50%. 4 of the new train cars are in operation, with all of them expected to operate by end-2015.
While the design of the exterior of the train is of a newer look, the mechanics are essentially almost the same.

A notable difference as compared to the original batch is the additional row of handgrips in the middle.

Priority seats are in a different colour in line with the enhancements made from the Downtown Line trains.
The route map on board also conforms to the newer design which integrate the station symbol and the station number together.
Most of the time, the train will operate in a 2-car configuration.
