The Class 221 Super Voyager pulling in for my journey to York. This train is bound for Glasgow.
The interior of Standard Class.
Besides looking at your ticket, your seat reservation will also be displayed above your seat for the journey this seat is “locked” for.
This train goes via Leeds instead of Doncaster, so it shares the same tracks as the HSTs.
Passing through more open fields of the UK.
Arrived at York.
The York city walls were just around the corner outside the station.
After passing under the walls, you have to cross Lendal Bridge to reach the main part of York.

I was here for a particularly different reason of course, which will be featured in my next post. Stay tuned!
