Since the cessation of KTM Intercity services in April, there is no more through train service between JB Sentral and KL Sentral. However, a cheaper combination without the ETS still exists if you wish to travel in the day, but still includes the compulsory transfer at Pulau Sebang (Tampin).

As there is no catering service on board the 41dn Ekspres Selatan, you should pack your dinner before boarding the train. If you have not planned for this, there is a food court at Pulau Sebang (Tampin) Railway Station.

Like all stations on the electrified double track sectors, entry to the platform is only allowed just before the train’s departure. There are ample seats to wait around in the lobby area though.

If you are arriving from KTM Komuter 2045dn on weekdays or 2435dn on weekends, the train will stop at Platform 3, offering a convenient cross-platform transfer to the 41dn Ekspres Selatan, and also to allow the ETS Gold 9203dn to pass through on the down line.
