The Rapid Penang Central Area Transit (CAT) is a free bus service by the Penang Island Municipal Council (MPPP) and Rapid Penang. The CAT plies an indirect route between Jetty and Komtar, but serves the key attractions around the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Georgetown, hence it is an excellent choice of sightseeing around Georgetown and getting around for free.
