New Platform Assignments at KL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur effective 20 February 2017

Due to the progress of the infrastructure upgrading of the Klang Valley Double Track project to the next stage between Kuala Lumpur and Pelabuhan Klang (?*), the following platform reassignments will take effect from 20 February 2017 till further notice to facilitate the upgrading works.

*RailTravel Station thinks KTM means Simpang Pelabuhan Klang at Bangsar instead.

UPDATE (15 FEB 2017): The change of platforms has been changed. The post below is updated unlike KTM’s website.

UPDATE (20 FEB 2017): The change of the change of platforms has been changed, with KTM claiming that they are being “proactive” by the change of the change of the change of the platforms. (“Walaubagaimanapun, melalui pemerhatian dan tinjauan yang dilakukan pada pagi ini, KTMB telah mengambil langkah proaktif dengan membuka semula Platform 2 di Stesen Kuala Lumpur bagi memastikan operasi perkhidmatan tren KTM Komuter berjalan lancar.” Source here.)
