WTS Travel (City Holidays): Our Tampines Hub to Berjaya Times Square by Bus

WTS Travel is a travel agency in Singapore which is a subsidiary of Woodlands Transport Service, offering coach services between Singapore and Malaysia. Some newer additional trips though, are “code-shared” with Malaysian operator City Express offering a lesser-frills trip at lower prices and are sold under WTS Travel (City Holidays).

WTS Travel (City Holidays) has departures from Our Tampines Hub and Big Box Jurong East only, as compared with the multiple island-wide departures of the normal WTS coaches. I opted to get the overnight bus from Our Tampines Hub.

Approximately 20 minutes before the bus departure, the WTS Travel (City Holidays) bus pulls up in front of the coach bay.

Seems like the bus came in empty from JB?

About 10 minutes to departure, the driver opens the door for boarding. The process is very simple, with just a flash of my Easybook ticket on my phone to the driver.

The bus departed half-empty from Our Tampines Hub on time at 11.30pm, as the passengers from Big Box Jurong East are still waiting at their pick-up point.

Making a brief stop at Big Box Jurong East to pick up the rest of the passengers. From here on, the bus ran full to KL.

WTS Travel (City Holidays) crosses the border via Tuas Checkpoint and heads to KL directly.

WTS Travel (City Holidays) drops off in KL at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) and Berjaya Times Square. However, on my trip, the bus stopped at Berjaya Times Square first, which is a little strange geographically. Those heading to TBS stayed on in the bus.

Overall, it was a sufficiently comfortable trip on WTS Travel (City Holidays). I opted for this bus as they were offering a slightly lower fare as compared with other operators on my departure date. However, if the fares were more or less the same with other operators, I would rather pick an alternative 27-seater bus operator for more comfort for an overnight journey.
