CLEARED: KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector train services have resumed as of 22 July 2019.

Rail Replacement Bus Services between Sungai Buloh – Rawang – Serendah have ceased as of 22 July 2019.

There is currently no KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector train service between Sungai Buloh/Kuang* and Rawang/Serendah* in both bounds due to a derailment at KM356.016, near Rawang Railway Station.

KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector trains are currently running on the following routes:
Tanjung Malim – Rawang/Serendah*
Sungai Buloh/Kuang* – Pelabuhan Klang
Sungai Buloh/Kuang* – Kepong

*Terminating stations will be changed from time to time as the track reinstatement progresses.

Passengers may use the free Rapid KL Rail Replacement Bus services between Sungai Buloh and Rawang and Serendah. Buses depart according to the equivalent KTM Komuter schedule. Click here for the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector schedule.

While buses depart around 5 minutes after the incoming train arrives, buses tend to reach the destination station on average 10 minutes before the connecting train on the same timetable. As such, trains run on the existing KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector timetable, excluding the disrupted sector.

The KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector Rail Replacement Bus services is able to make up the time taken to transfer passengers from the train to the bus and to the train again. The Rail Replacement Bus services speed up the train journey itself by around 15 minutes, excluding departure time (~5 minutes after the connecting train arrives – it will wait for all connecting passengers) and will arrive at the connecting station ~10 minutes before the train departure time.
