The Don Mueang Airport Bus Service A1 is a convenient high-frequency bus service linking Mo Chit BTS Station to Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport at most times of the day. Despite being an almost non-stop express bus running via the tollway, it is part of the BMTA network of public buses in Bangkok, and charges reasonable local fares of just 30 Baht (~S$1.36). As I was on the BTS Sukhumvit Line most of the time and ending my trip at Mixt Chatuchak, I opted to use this bus service to get back to Don Mueang Airport since it would be a direct route.
