The Pasar Seni LRT – Kuala Lumpur KTM Link Bridge connects the neighbouring Pasar Seni LRT Station and Kuala Lumpur Railway Station directly above ground level, crossing over the Klang River and Jalan Tun Sambanthan.
While the original slimmer bridge did the job well, the bridge was closed as part of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line works to expand the paid area of Pasar Seni LRT Station, integrating the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line, LRT Kelana Jaya Line and KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector in a unified paid area.
The construction of this replacement bridge took 3 years, only commencing when the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line was opening, and was designed with integration in mind but without fulfilling the actual integrated paid area design.

How to walk from Kuala Lumpur KTM Station to Pasar Seni LRT Station
Heading out of KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector Platform 3 after arriving from KL Sentral.
The empty area between the original station and new Dayabumi wing damaged by the collapsed crane has been fixed by MRT Corp in MRT style.

More MRT-style signs. Well, yes and no for the directions. The arrows point straight to the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector fare gates, but do not actually point left or right after the fare gates. Passengers have to physically look left and right after the fare gate to see where they need to go.

The Pasar Seni LRT – Kuala Lumpur KTM Link Bridge is on the right after heading out of the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector fare gates.
Once on the Pasar Seni LRT – Kuala Lumpur KTM Link Bridge, you are on Prasarana’s territory. Head through the big entrance to transfer to the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line or LRT Kelana Jaya Line. The small entrance on the left leads to the original bridge towards Pasar Seni Bus Hub and Central Market.

The Pasar Seni LRT – Kuala Lumpur KTM Link Bridge features travellators to speed up the walk slightly, though the ramp up clearly shows that it was an afterthought just like klia2.

The original bridge is connected to this new Pasar Seni LRT – Kuala Lumpur KTM Link Bridge in the middle. However, there is no walkthrough at this point, with the connection only at Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. Looks like I think I now know how the bridge will be split if one day a unified transit system is in place.

How to walk from Pasar Seni LRT Station to Kuala Lumpur KTM Station
If arriving on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line or LRT Kelana Jaya Line and transferring to the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector, the Pasar Seni LRT – Kuala Lumpur KTM Link Bridge is newly classified as Exit E.
Tap out of the Rapid KL fare gates at Exit E.
The travellator is on the right.
From this angle, the walk without the use of travellators look inviting, but I think you should still use the travellators if they are working.
Exit E leads straight into Kuala Lumpur Railway Station for the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector.

If you are heading to Kajang, Seremban, Pulau Sebang (Tampin), Subang Jaya, Klang or Pelabuhan Klang, you should not change to the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector here as there are lesser services than KL Sentral where half of the trains originate from. Continue on via the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line or LRT Kelana Jaya Line to Muzium Negara or KL Sentral get the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector from KL Sentral respectively.

If you are heading southbound on the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector towards KL Sentral, Kajang, Seremban, Pulau Sebang (Tampin), Subang Jaya, Klang or Pelabuhan Klang, proceed to Platform 4 on the left escalator (not in picture). If you are heading northbound on the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector to Sentul, Batu Caves, Rawang or Tanjung Malim, proceed to Platform 3 on the middle escalator (this picture).
If you are heading southbound on the ETS towards KL Sentral, Kajang, Seremban, Pulau Sebang (Tampin) or Gemas, proceed to Platform 2 on the middle escalator (this picture). If you are heading northbound on the ETS to Rawang, Tanjung Malim, Ipoh, Taiping, Butterworth or Padang Besar, proceed to Platform 1 on the right escalator (not in picture).
