  1. dude, you should include a date on your post, so that ppl will know how relevant are the info. Great job, thanks !!

    1. Hi, most of the information found on my website is updated, sometimes even before the operators themselves, hence I didn’t date my posts. Furthermore, bus routes in rural areas in Malaysia generally do not change – the only possible changes are that the route number goes missing over time or the route just disappears. Hope this clarifies, and thank you for your feedback.

  2. A big thank you to you for all the helpful information that you had written for the perusal of travelers both domestic and foreign. Your info on Cityliner Kota Bharu Service Guide (Key routes west of Sungai Kelantan only) is very relevant and up to date.

Give Cityliner Service 19 a miss as the service is unreliable.Ask the bus service counter when it is coming if you missed it. If not you may end up waiting for 2 hours or more for an unreliable public bus service. The bus driver usually takes a 2 hours rest at Pengkalan Kubor before driving.

Cityliner is the only sole provider of public bus transport in Kota Bharu right now as SKMK buses are no longer seen on the road in Kelantan.

  3. Hello,
I want to go from the Kota Bharu bus station to the sitting Buddha Wat Machimmaram. Can you please tell me which bus I should take and to which station? Do you know how far it is from the station to Wat Machimmaram? Thanks in advance for your help.
