Cityliner Service TESCO is a shopping bus route in Kota Bharu which doubles up as a intra-city feeder bus as its route covers both the old town of Kota Bharu around the iconic Cityliner Kota Bharu Bus Station down to the Kota Bharu City Centre around KB Mall, Tune Hotel Kota Bharu City Centre, AEON, Tesco Bus Terminal and TESCO. The bus service does not bear a service number, but rather, just TESCO.
Along with other bus routes, the departure point of Cityliner Service TESCO is marked by signs hanging from the ceiling of Kota Bharu Bus Station. This is NOT a sign to walk to TESCO, please don’t do that.

Before departure, the Cityliner Service TESCO bus driver comes around to sell tickets. Inform him of the point of alighting to purchase the appropriate ticket.

Cityliner Service TESCO does not terminate at TESCO, but rather, operates as a loop service, looping at TESCO.
As such, I purchased another ticket from the driver to continue my journey on this loop service. The fare from TESCO to KB Mall costs RM1.00.
Heading back, passing by the Kota Bharu Bus Terminal or Tesco Bus Terminal again.

I alighted here to get back to Tune Hotel Kota Bharu City Centre to prepare to check-out.
KB Mall and Tune Hotel Kota Bharu City Centre is just in front of the bus stop.
Overall, Cityliner Service TESCO is a rather useful bus service to get to the big shopping malls in Kota Bharu and to connect to and from long-distance bus services as no other public bus routes currently serve AEON, TESCO and Tesco Bus Terminal. I wish the Cityliner Service TESCO bus would operate more frequently and with longer operating hours though, as compared to around once every hour or so only in the day time.
