Jurong Bird Park Tram
The Jurong Bird Park Tram is the main mode of transport around Jurong Bird Park, operating as a clockwise loop from the entrance of Jurong Bird Park. The Jurong Bird Park Tram is a guided tram ride with audio commentary on birds and exhibits. Jurong Bird Park Tram tickets costs S$5 for adult and S$3 for children, valid for unlimited rides on the purchased day.
Jurong Bird Park Tram Facilities
The Jurong Bird Park Trams are formed with a lead “locomotive” and 2 trailer cars. Each tram has a seating capacity of 42 passengers, or 39 passengers and 1 passenger in wheelchair. Each tram car seats 21 passengers in a 3-abreast configuration on 7 rows of seats.
The Jurong Bird Park Trams are manufactured by Trams International in Bell Gardens, California, USA, and are more than 9 years old as of January 2021.
The front car has a wheelchair bay for passengers in wheelchairs to ride on the Jurong Bird Park Tram. This is available on some trams only.
The row of seats right behind the front wheel hub can be removed to fit the passenger in wheelchair.
The rear car has a fully seated configuration.
There is a fixed open rack at the rear of the tram to carry bulky items such as strollers.
During wet weather, side curtains will be pulled down to prevent rain from entering the tram cars to a certain extent.

The Jurong Bird Park Tram consists of 4 stations on a uni-directional clockwise loop starting from the entrance of Jurong Bird Park, with audio commentary on birds and exhibits.
Tram Station 1: Main Station
The journey starts from Tram Station 1: Main Station near the main entrance gate. This is by the side of the original Main Station of the now-defunct Panorail.

Jurong Bird Park Tram Ticket
Tickets are only available online as physical ticket counters are closed. You can scan the QR code to purchase Jurong Bird Park Tram tickets before entering the queue if you have not done so when purchasing park tickets in advance.

Tram Station 2: Lory Station
The Jurong Bird Park Tram uses the ground floor of the original Panorail Lory Station as the tram stop.
Continuing on to Waterfall Aviary.
At sections with heavy pedestrian traffic, the tram driver passes through slowly while ringing the bell.
Passing by the Lory Loft, quite a walk away from Lory Station..
I remember this view slightly higher up on the Panorail.

Tram Station 3: Waterfall Aviary Station

Tram Station 3: Waterfall Aviary Station is adjacent to the path leading to Waterfall Aviary.

Tram Station 4: Parrot Paradise Station
Tram Station 4: Parrot Paradise Station is the newest stop along the Jurong Bird Park Tram line to serve the Parrot Paradise exhibit.
Tram Station 4: Parrot Paradise Station is also the smallest tram stop along the line with just a small shelter.
The Jurong Bird Park Tram continues to be regulated at Tram Station 4: Parrot Paradise Station.
Jurong Bird Park Tram Depot
The Jurong Bird Park Tram Depot is located behind Tram Station 4: Parrot Paradise Station.

Tram Station 1: Main Station
The Jurong Bird Park Tram ride ends back at where it started, though with the Jurong Bird Park Tram ticket, you can stay on if you like.
The JBP50 Past-Present-Future Photopoint has Queen Elizabeth riding a tram in 1972 at the same spot as Tram Station 1. While accurate, it’s unfortunate that Jurong Bird Park makes no mention of the Panorail which operated from 1992 till 2012, and road trams did not operate during that 20-year period.
Conclusion
Overall, a comfortable and easy way to sightsee around Jurong Bird Park on board the Jurong Bird Park Tram, worth the S$5 spent if actually getting around Jurong Bird Park to see birds multiple times as it will save a lot of walking effort (unlike me because I went to Jurong Bird Park specifically for retracing the Panorail and to try out the tram).
