KKKL Express from Kluang to Johor Bahru Larkin by Express Bus

Returning from Kluang, the train schedule didn’t really fit my time spent in the town, so after missing the Ekspres Selatan 43dn, I headed to the Kluang Bus Terminal to catch a bus back to JB.

The journey from Kluang to JB is always seamless by bus, with multiple companies departing from the same spot, with ticket agents holding handheld ticket machines so you don’t have to go to the counter upstairs to buy a ticket.

There were two immediate departures at 7pm for JB – the popular S&S International and the KKKL Express. I always liked KKKL, and even more so when it is the less popular bus on the Kluang – JB route and everyone is stuffing themselves onto the S&S International bus.

After buying my ticket from the agent beside the bus for RM10 (S$~3.26), I boarded the almost empty bus.

From Kluang, the bus is free seating, so I picked my own private area on the bus. I can already sense an enjoyable ride.

I’m not sure if I got my correct ticket, or was this a passenger manifest given wrongly to me. But it looks like I have 20 seats to myself at the rear.

Overall, another good bus ride with KKKL Express on this short hop with a rather empty bus.
