From the early arrival of my AirAsia AK1792 flight from Singapore to Kota Kinabalu, I hopped over to the Kota Kinabalu Airport Bus counter as quickly as possible to hopefully catch an immediate departure to the city at 8.00pm, saving me half an hour of waiting time at KKIA.

The 8pm bus that I was catching is the second-last bus of the day. The last bus departs half an hour later at 8.30pm.
And I made it just in time for my ticket purchase! As my hotel was near to City Park Bus Terminal, I opted to stop there instead of taking the full route to the Padang Merdeka Bus Terminal. The counter then wrote the stop as “Horizon”, for Horizon Hotel.

As it was a quick night time journey with no jams, I didn’t manage to take a photo of the arrival point properly as the driver proceeded on after alighting everyone from the bus. However, the stop was at the Shell Petrol Station between City Park Bus Terminal and Horizon Hotel, which was central enough for everyone alighting there.
Overall, another quick and easy journey with the Kota Kinabalu Airport Bus, thanks to the early arrival of my AirAsia flight from Singapore too.
