Bukit Mertajam Railway Station

Bukit Mertajam Railway Station is a railway station located in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. It operates as the junction station east of the Bukit Mertajam wye junction, and is the key interchange station of the KTM Komuter Northern Sector between the Butterworth – Padang Besar Line and Bukit Mertajam – Padang Rengas Line. It is located approximately 2km west of the original junction station, with the original site needed to install the new points and junctions on the Bukit Mertajam wye junction.
