Johor Bahru Sentral Railway Station (JB Sentral)

JB Sentral • Johor Bahru Sentral Railway Station

Johor Bahru Sentral Railway Station, or JB Sentral Railway Station (though everyone calls it JB Sentral or JBS), is a multi-storey integrated transport hub located at Bukit Chagar between Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and Jalan Jim Quee in the centre of Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It is conveniently located just opposite Johor Bahru City Square and Komtar JBCC as part of the Southern Integrated Gateway, connected to the Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex.

In future, JB Sentral is planned to be the main hub for rail and bus transportation in Johor Bahru, with at least ETS services to KL Sentral and beyond once the Gemas-Johor Baru Electrified Double-Track Project (EDTP) is completed, and will also likely be connected to the future Bukit Chagar RTS Station and JB Sentral BRT Station.

Grab

Grab is available in Johor Bahru.

The Grab pick-up point is only available at the Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, and gets crowded at any time of the day and night. You may have to walk along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and/or Caltex due to the traffic jam.

Alternative Train Travel Options

There are local public bus services linking some railway stations on the JB Sentral – Pulau Sebang (Tampin) sector. You can avoid using the infrequent train schedule by taking a bus instead. In some instances, this will be cheaper and faster.
