KTM ETS Platinum 9371dn & 9372up 20% Discount

KTM Berhad is offering a 20% discount on ETS Platinum 9371dn and 9372up. This pair of ETS trains travel from Butterworth to Gemas departing at 8am, and from Gemas to Butterworth at 3.10pm, also serving KL Sentral along the way in both bounds.

While both ETS Platinum Standard and ETS Business Class seats are available on board this train, ETS Business Class is not part of this 20% promotion.

This 20% discount on ETS Platinum 9371dn and 9372up is valid for travelling from 6 to 19 December 2021.

A quick search on the KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (KITS) shows that this is a flat discount, and no promo codes are needed. As such, all KITS account holders are eligible for this 20% promotion on ETS Platinum 9371dn and 9372up.

This discount also applies for other route combinations, and not necessarily traversing the whole route to be eligible. You may also use ETS Platinum 9371dn and 9372up to travel between Butterworth and KL Sentral with the 20% discount.

On my VTL trip to Malaysia, I will be using ETS Platinum 9371dn indeed. However, I had already purchased my full fare ticket, before this promotion was announced.

But it doesn’t really matter. A couple of ringgit extra for the full fare is fine especially when I haven’t taken any KTM trains for the past almost 2 years, and I don’t know when is the next time I can take a trip to Malaysia again.
