Rapid Kamunting
Rapid Kamunting was a collaboration between the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) and Prasarana in introducing a new city bus system in Taiping, operated by Rapid Penang. It originally facilitated as a means of access between Taiping and Kamunting when the KTM Komuter Northern Sector was launched but is today a reliable independent transit system in Taiping.
The last day of Rapid Kamunting operations was on 15 June 2021 due to insufficient funding and low demand.
Rapid Kamunting is no longer in operation.
