Royal Railway Cambodia រ៉ូយ៉ាល់ រេលវេ

Royal Railway (Cambodia) operates the sole railway network in Cambodia, with the railway running in a north-south direction from Poipet on the border of Thailand to Sihanoukville by the seaside via Phnom Penh. The railway is split into two distinct lines, the southern Phnom Penh – Sihanoukville Line and the northern Phnom Penh – Poipet Line, with both converging at Phnom Penh. A dedicated short-lived local branch line also served the Airport Shuttle Train between Phnom Penh and Phnom Penh International Airport, which is now defunct.

The easternmost end of the Phnom Penh – Poipet Line at Poipet connects with SRT Eastern Line train services from Ban Klong Luk Border to Bangkok Hua Lamphong.

  2. Now, I have learnt that ORD 275 has arrived at Aranyaprathet around 13.00, so it can catch Train that depart Poipet at 14.15.

For the return trip, it is quite a trouble to catch either ORD 276 or ORD 280, so the only alternative are either Casino bus or intercity van for Aranyaprathet.

  3. Nice work. You may want to add Bat Deng station (between Pursat and Phnom Penh), Damnak Chang Aeur/Kep (between Takeo and Kampot) and Veal Renh (between Kampot and Sihanoukville), all of which should be open before the end of the year.

  4. Hi

The Phnom Penh station renovation is complete. It looks wonderful, bright and airy.

    1. Thanks for the update, not sure when I’ll be able to check it out.
