Flight Review: Thai Airways TG402 from Singapore to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi by Boeing 777-300

Thai Airways TG402 is the only morning flight of Thai Airways departing from Singapore at 8.15am, arriving into Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport at 9.15am. As such, the flight usually runs full with both people getting to Bangkok as well as transfer passengers to other destinations. This time, my flight was served by the higher-capacity Boeing 777-300.

Check-in for Thai Airways is now at Row 4 of Changi Airport Terminal 1.

My flight was departing from Gate D49, the last gate hold room of the D pier of Terminal 1.

As I had an aisle seat in the middle column, there’s no window shots of my flight this time.

There were two options for breakfast as usual, but I picked the western option, as usual.

The western option was Scrambled Eggs with Chicken Sausage.

The scrambled egg was more like a lump of egg rather than being scrambled, but it still tasted pretty good.

The toilet was pretty clean too.

Perfume and paper towels were also provided in the toilet.

The flight landed 11 minutes early at 9.24am, but it was a long taxi to the gate. From the gate, it was also a long trek to immigration.

Thankfully, with the long trek to immigration and a short queue there, the bags came out to the carousel just in time, and I was on my way.

Overall, another good flight with Thai Airways, though I wish that there would be an additional later-morning option in future.
