As I was running short of time, I had a short trainspotting session at a lookout point in Wynn Palace, followed by a short walkaround in the shopping area before heading back to the Wynn Palace Dragon SkyCab to head back down to Cotai Leste LRT Station to continue my Macau transport exploration.
Queuing up for the Wynn Palace Dragon SkyCab.
The Wynn Palace cable car station is angled 90 degrees.
A large LED screen above the platform.
Boarding can commence the moment a cable car empties out.
Following the instructions of the Wynn Palace staff to get to the next available cable car. Again, due to the never-ending demand, all cable cars are shared.

Departing from Wynn Palace cable car station.
Heading down to another golden dragon.
The journey from Wynn Palace to Cotai Leste is a lot shorter as the line only goes about a quarter of the round around the Performance Lake.
The rail-“air” transfer at Cotai Leste.
Turning sharp right at this “angle station” at the mouth of the golden dragon.
Goodbye Wynn Palace.
Descending into Cotai Leste cable car station.
Approaching Cotai Leste cable car station.
Interestingly, the platform is slightly concave curved, probably to allow the running cable to pass through the station smoothly as the cars get detached into the station.
Disembarking from the Wynn Palace Dragon SkyCab.
This Doppelmayr cable car looks the same as the Mount Faber one, except with a different colour scheme and additional air-conditioning.
Heading out of Cotai Leste cable car station. You can see from here how near the steps are up to Cotai Leste LRT Station.
The stunning views of the Wynn Palace Dragon SkyCab from Cotai Leste.
Hopefully, there will be a sheltered link connecting Cotai Leste LRT Station to Cotai Leste cable car station in future. It’s quite wasted to have the two transit stations barely 2 meters beside each other at the nearest point, yet have no physical connections.
Overall, a nice short ride back to the outside world with the Wynn Palace Dragon SkyCab. The ride out of Wynn Palace is shorter, but I guess that’s what the guest would want, with a scenic ride towards the place of interest and a quick ride out after losing it all at the casino to get home (or back to the hotel) quickly.
