Merak DAMRI Bus Terminal • Pool DAMRI Merak

Merak DAMRI Bus Terminal or Pool DAMRI Merak is the separate bus terminal for DAMRI buses only, located opposite the main Merak Bus Terminal or Terminal Terpadu Merak. The sole DAMRI bus route available from Pool DAMRI Merak is short but essential, connecting Merak to Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK).

The walk to Pool DAMRI Merak is not exactly pedestrian-friendly, especially when crossing the main road is needed which can get busy, since this is after all the main road linking Java and Sumatra.

Pool DAMRI Merak is more easily identified by Warung DAMRI along road. I’m not sure if this is an official DAMRI warung, or it’s just another case of someone naming their stall based on location and familiar branding.

Just 1 DAMRI bus line is served here, to Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK).

Pool DAMRI Merak isn’t very big, with just enough space to reverse-park buses here.

An air-conditioned waiting room for passengers is available in the shop lot beside the bus parking area.

The ticket counter, more waiting area, and bus maintenance area is located behind.

The timetable of DAMRI buses from Merak to Serang, Cilegon, and Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK). Online booking is currently not available for this route, unless there are possibilities in Bahasa Indonesia, which I am not sure of.
