Introduction to ETS Gold
ETS Gold offers a limited-stop service at major stations along the route it serves. It is the most common service class of ETS. Trains run as far south as Gemas, and as far north as Padang Besar, connecting with shuttle trains to Hat Yai, Thailand.
Pengenalan ETS Gold

ETS services use the 91 Class and 93 Class train sets interchangeably, though the 91 Class train sets operate most frequently on ETS Gold services between KL Sentral and Ipoh, and 93 Class train sets on all other routes.

KTM Komuter 92 Class Rolling Stock Replacement
In the event that there are no available ETS 91 Class or 93 Class train sets, the ETS Gold service will operate with KTM Komuter 92 Class train sets. This usually happens on the KL Sentral – Ipoh trains, and sometimes on the KL Sentral – Gemas sector for trains to Gemas, requiring a transfer at KL Sentral for through passengers. Should this situation arise, there will be free seating on the train. If you are unable to find a seat, you may stand or sit on the floor for your journey. If you travel frequently especially on the KL – Ipoh sector, you are advised to bring a foldable stool for your journey as a precautionary measure.
No catering service will be available on board.
No toilets are available on board. There may be an announced 15 minute toilet break at a station en route to the destination, usually at Tanjung Malim. Should there not be one, check with a staff if you are able to use your ETS ticket for the KTM Komuter service. If he or she allows it, alight at a KTM Komuter station with a train that serves your eventual destination to use the toilet there and get on the next KTM Komuter train to your destination.
No refunds will be provided by KTM in case of such a rolling stock replacement. Refunds are only provided to be processed at the ticket counter if you choose not to travel on the spot.
some objection – the departure from Padang besar at 5.45 AM (Malaysia time) is not quite convenient for Hatyai Padang besar shuttle to make a connection though – even after changing the departure time for the first train from Hatyai to Padang Besar to 6AM (Thailand time) and it is unlikely for SRT to run the first train Hatyai to Padang Besar at 4 AM
I’m just wondering why KTMB official website can’t even make seat layout as details as what you have at your website.
It’s will help people to book their seat.
Dua kali buat booking online, dua dua telan duit lepas tu hilang takde bagi references number semua . duit dah telan . wtf!
