Eastern Holiday

NOTE: With the new Ekspres Rakyat Timuran timetable effective 1 February 2017 running closely with the previous timetables of the Eastern Holiday, it seems that the Eastern Holiday may be a defunct service since the train was not in operation during the Christmas and New Year period in end-2016 and Chinese New Year 2017.

The Eastern Holiday is an excursion train which operates on a seasonal basis between Sentral Kuala Lumpur and Tumpat. It connects the capital of Malaysia with the eastern states of Pahang and Kelantan via the East Coast Line, or more popularly known overseas as the Jungle Line, through the dense tropical rainforest of Malaysia.

Included in the ticket price are 2 meals and train souvenirs.
