KTM Komuter Malacca-Johore Missing Link is the sector south of the electrified double-track line between Padang Besar and Pulau Sebang (Tampin) which is currently not served by the KTM Komuter, which is between Pulau Sebang (Tampin) and Kluang in Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, and Johor states.

The KTM Komuter Malacca-Johore Missing Link is a term coined by RailTravel Station and in no way suggests a potential KTM Komuter service on this sector. It describes fixing the missing links by bus, making it a cheaper option to travel short-haul or suggests a potential connection from the current terminals of the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector and KTM Komuter Southern Sector.

KTM Komuter Southern Sector, also known as the Komuter Selatan or Shuttle Selatan, is a new KTM Komuter network which launched on 16 June 2026 providing local all-stop diesel-hauled train services in the state of Johor on the KTM Southern Line, with trains running on the JB Sentral-Kulai Line and Kempas Baru-Pasir Gudang Line. Shuttle Selatan will be extended to Paloh from 8 August 2026, with the new JB Sentral-Paloh Line.
