The 92 Class is a 6-car electric multiple unit (EMU) operating for KTM Komuter. The 92 Class EMU is KTM Komuter‘s first 6 car EMU to cope with increasing passenger numbers. Affectionally known as the SCS, 6CS or myKomuter, the 92 Class EMU features modern improvements for the KTM Komuter network including power sockets at seats, KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector dynamic route maps above doors, a mixture of longitudinal and transverse seating and most importantly, improving KTM Komuter’s on-time performance to up to 100% on a daily basis. The 92 Class EMU is manufactured by CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. of China.
The 92 Class EMUs currently operate on the KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector and KTM Komuter Northern Sector daily.
