The 26 Class, also known as the Blue Tiger, manufactured by Bombardier and General Electric, is the most powerful locomotive in KTM’s fleet. Originally meant for freight trains only, the locomotives also operate for passenger services. The 26 Class Blue Tiger has also hauled Malaysia’s longest train at 120 freight wagons. 20 such locomotives exist, each bearing the name of a Malaysian geographical cape or tanjung.
