ASC (ICF-Padu Sedia) (Air-conditioned Second Class)

The ASC (ICF-Padu Sedia), also known as Superior Class or Jasmine Coach, is the refurbished version of the original ICF EPLUS and thereafter ASC (ICF). The Letter of Acceptance (LOA) of the refurbishment of 75 coaches was issued by the Ministry of Transport (MOT) on 19 October 2015 to Padu Sedia Sdn Bhd, and the first batch of 8 coaches (Hyundai) was launched on 28 July 2018. It consists of 60 seats in a fixed forward and reverse direction, in a 2+2 configuration.

Interior of ASC (ICF-Padu Sedia)

The ASC (ICF-Padu Sedia) consists of 60 seats in a fixed forward and reverse direction, in a 2+2 configuration.

Tray tables
are provided at seats on Rows 2 to 14.

The toilet cubicles have been changed back to the waste tank system. The original EPLUS pioneered the waste tank system in KTM, but was removed shortly after launch and converted to a regular hole.

While using the same seats, the ASC (ICF-Padu Sedia) has an estimated 10cm more legroom than the ASC (Hyundai-Padu Sedia). It is worth to note that the original EPLUS had 74 seats on board in 19 rows, and the original ASC Hyundai had 52 seats on board in 13 rows, which easily explains the current legroom situation.
