More than just trains which run back and forth from point A to point B, RailTravel Station takes you on a journey of railways and other means of travel with a special focus on Singapore and Malaysia.
This site is a one-man show, not affiliated with any other companies, simply a travel blog. My intended purpose of creating RailTravel Station was to document my overland trips by rail. However, seeing the need to create an alternative for service information in Malaysia due to a lack of it, RailTravel Station has become one of the most popular local websites to contain such information.
Today, RailTravel Station has dedicated service information pages for individual train services or lines. Blog posts on my travels also blend such relevant information with my actual experiences.
Have a look around, get on board, and experience “RailTravel” in Singapore, Malaysia and beyond!

Who are you?
I’m a railway fan in Singapore, who joined the Malayan Railway Fan Club forum (then known as KTM Railway Fan Club) back in 2003. I am not a staff, so the information I have is available publicly before I post them. I know as much as you, basically. I do, however, prefer the railway than other modes of transport because I get to do what I love and yet get to my destination at a fair price.
Can I book my tickets through you?
In a way, yes. RailTravel Station is simply my personal travel blog, but to maintain the site (it costs money to purchase this domain), you can use the attached agent links on my site to help defray the cost of maintaining this website. Most, if not all, will charge less than KTM’s official channel anyway, so it’s a win-win situation for both of us.
- KTM Intercity counters
- Online from 12Go Asia (joint ticketing with connecting trains available)
- Online from BusOnlineTicket
- Online from Easybook
- Online from the KTM E-Ticket System (additional RM2 surcharge)
Tickets are open for sale 180 days before departure except for the Shuttle Tebrau which opens 30 days before departure.
