ScotRail 2P02 from Stirling to Edinburgh Waverley by Train

ScotRail 2P02 Train from Stirling to Edinburgh Waverley

The next train at Stirling to Edinburgh Waverley was following behind my initial ScotRail 1T48 from Dundee, offering a connection for passengers from my ScotRail 1T48 from Dundee and Perth to travel to either Glasgow or Edinburgh. It was a simple same-platform transfer at Stirling to board the next train following behind to continue my journey on to Edinburgh.

Conclusion

It was a great cheap weekday out to 4 Scottish cities, Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, and technically Stirling too, joyriding on 4 different train journeys for the price of 2 Super Off-Peak Day Return Tickets, using National Rail ticket rules to my advantage. ScotRail Super Off-Peak Day Return Tickets can only be purchased on the ScotRail app mTicket, which makes it both convenient and cheap. For those who like to collect paper tickets, unfortunately, the ScotRail Super Off-Peak Day Return Ticket is not available, but the trade-off for a cheaper fare is perhaps better than paying more for a paper ticket to keep.
