Butterworth Railway Station

Butterworth Railway Station is a major railway station and terminus located in Butterworth, Penang. It is located just beside Penang Sentral, with easy access between buses, trains, and ferries adjacent to each other. It is the main rail connection to Penang Island via the Penang Ferry.

While Butterworth Railway Station looks like the end of the line with the official KM0 of the railway network across the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia right at the buffer stops, the track still continues on a little bit north to North Butterworth Container Terminal (NBCT) from the freight line beside Platform 1.
