KTM Ekspres Peninsular (Defunct)
The Ekspres Peninsular was a popular daily service between JB Sentral and Hat Yai in Thailand via KL Sentral. The Ekspres Peninular previously operated as the Senandung Langkawi bearing the same train number which ran between KL Sentral and Hat Yai. The Senandung Langkawi service was extended to JB Sentral as the Ekspres Peninsular, with the removal of the Ekspres Sinaran Selatan from 1 September 2015.
The Ekspres Peninsular ran for the last time on 18 May 2016.
The Ekspres Peninsular is no longer in operation. Through train service between JB Sentral and KL Sentral will be restored from 12 December 2025 with the new ETS3 service.
