Butterworth Overrun Komuter Train Removal Works Completed, Station Operations Fully Restored
KTM Berhad has announced that the overrun incident involving a six-car Komuter train set (SCS03), which overshot the end of the track at Platform 4 of Butterworth Railway Station at 6:01 a.m. yesterday, has been fully resolved.
The train removal operations were safely completed, and passenger train services resumed normal operations from 7:51 p.m. yesterday.
KTMB expressed its deepest appreciation and gratitude to all passengers for their patience, cooperation, and understanding during the recovery process.
