While there are currently complaints by Malaysians over the RM1 MyCity 1 Day Pass (MCP1) fare increase, Malaysians who commute by Rapid KL frequently should seriously consider using the My50 30 Day Pass which costs RM50 instead. The My50 would make the daily cost of commute only RM1.67 for unlimited travel, which is much lower than any MyCity passes.

The MyCity Pass can be purchased at all LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT Customer Service Counters, or selected bus stops from 8 March 2024, or online through the MyRapid PULSE application from 11 March 2024.
