Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) Still Required for Singaporeans from 1 January 2024 to use Autogate
The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is still a prerequisite for Singaporeans from 1 January 2024 to use the immigration e-gates to enter Malaysia at the 2 land entry points in Johor Bahru at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (from Woodlands) and Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar (from Tuas), and at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminals 1 and 2. While Singaporeans are exempted from filling up the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) from 1 January 2024, this is for entry and exit by manual counters only. For Singaporeans who want to enjoy the benefits of using the e-gates, you must still fill up the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) from 3 days prior to arrival in Malaysia.
Most other foreigners must fill up the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) prior to their arrival in Malaysia. The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is similar to an immigration form but much more straightforward and is completed online.
