Padang Besar (Thai) Railway Station (สถานีรถไฟปาดังเบซาร์ (ไทย)) is located in Padang Besar Subdistrict, Sadao District, Songkhla Province, Thailand. It is situated 978 kilometers from Thonburi Railway Station in Bangkok. Padang Besar (Thai) Railway Station opened on 21 December 2015 to provide local domestic access by train to Padang Besar Subdistrict. While very near the international border between Thailand and Malaysia, Padang Besar (Thai) Railway Station does not have any immigration and customs facilities. All immigration and customs formalities are done at Padang Besar Railway Station in Malaysia.

The railway line connecting Hat Yai in Thailand to Padang Besar on the Malaysia-Thailand border officially opened on 1 July 1918. This development established a continuous metre-gauge rail link between Thailand and British Malaya, enhancing regional connectivity and facilitating travel and trade between the two territories.
