Train Schedule Changes for ETS & KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector (24–26 May 2025) Due to Signalling Upgrading Works

KTM Komuter train schedules in the Klang Valley will be revised from 24 May to 26 May 2025 to facilitate essential signalling system upgrade works between Kepong and Salak Selatan stations. During this period, passengers travelling on KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector routes, as well as the Electric Train Service (ETS), should anticipate delays of up to 50 minutes from the usual timetable.

Service Disruptions and Delays

During this period, passengers travelling on the Pulau Sebang – Batu Caves – Pulau Sebang and Tanjung Malim – KL Sentral – Tanjung Malim KTM Komuter routes, as well as the Electric Train Service (ETS), should anticipate delays of up to 50 minutes from the usual timetable. Detailed changes to train operations are provided below.

Additionally, on 24 May only, two ETS services—EG9425 (Padang Besar – Segamat) and EG9321 (Butterworth – Segamat)—will experience platform changes at KL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur stations. KTMB staff will be present at the stations to assist and guide passengers to the correct platforms.

Advice for Passengers

KTMB strongly advises all passengers to plan their journeys in advance and to check the latest train schedules using the MyRailtime feature on the KTMB Mobile app. Passengers are also encouraged to stay alert for announcements at stations and updates via KTMB’s official social media channels.

For ETS passengers affected by these changes, KTMB will send SMS notifications as an early alert regarding any potential delays.

KTMB appreciates the patience and continued support of all passengers during these essential upgrade works. For further updates, passengers can refer to KTMB’s official media channels or contact the KTMB Customer Service Centre at 03-9779 1200.

  1. Bad timing, just as KL is hosting the ASEAN Summit. With the road closures, they should have increased services instead of cutting them. SMH.
