As I was in Phnom Penh on this modified travel plan just for Royal Railway, I decided to get a hotel as close to the station as possible for ease of movement when arriving and departing the city. As such, Hotel Zing Phnom Penh fits the bill for my trip this time as it was just less than 5 minutes by foot away from the station.

The Hotel Zing Phnom Penh lobby is facing Central Market.

Heading into Hotel Zing Phnom Penh.
The front desk of Hotel Zing Phnom Penh. Check-in was rather fuss-free, after the staff had seen my actual booking confirmation, rather than checking my name in their list.
The lift up to the rooms is behind the front desk.
The interior of my Standard Double room.
The room is simply but cleanly furnished in almost all white. The side table is actually a concrete slab tiled over, so it’s really, really sturdy.
A side well features a hanging clothes rack and an in-room safe.
The attached toilet is also rather clean and sufficient.
The standing shower in the toilet. This does not come with curtains though, so the water does spill out when showering.
Overall, a reasonably comfortable short stay at Hotel Zing Phnom Penh, just for easy access to Phnom Penh Railway Station.
