KTM Train Tickets Open on 30 May 2024 for Travel till November 2024
KTM train tickets will open for sale on Thursday, 30 May 2024 for travel in till November. Shuttle Tebrau tickets will open at 10am on 30 May 2024. All other ETS and KTM Intercity train tickets will open at 12pm on 30 May 2024. A new network timetable will be been published for ETS and KTM Intercity services starting on 1 August. The timetable has not been published on KTM’s website yet even though it has been announced.

- Ekspres Selatan: Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 12pm
- Ekspres Rakyat Timuran: Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 12pm
- Shuttle Timuran: Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 12pm
- ETS Silver: Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 12pm
- ETS Gold: Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 12pm
- ETS Platinum Standard Class: Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 12pm
- ETS Platinum Business Class: Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 12pm
KTM train tickets have opened for sale in 1-month blocks of 6 months ahead since 30 July 2023. This provides a much more frequent booking period as compared to the old 6-month block of 6-months ahead. This new monthly ticket sales allow passengers to buy tickets in a moving block of 1 month for tickets up to around 6 months in advance. This move will also potentially increase chances of securing tickets on popular days, as peak days will open 1 month at each time.
ETS and KTM Intercity tickets were previously suspended from sale for travel dates from August 2024. A new network timetable has been published for ETS and KTM Intercity services starting on 1 August. The timetable has not been published on KTM’s website yet even though it has been announced. ETS and KTM Intercity tickets are now available for sale from for travel from August to November 2024.
