KTM MySawasdee special train operating between KL Sentral and Hat Yai Junction on 5–8 December and 12–15 December 2025 have been cancelled to facilitate post-flood safety inspections, cleaning, and repair works along affected sections of the route around Hat Yai Junction Railway Station that remain unstable. The suspensions are necessary to ensure operational safety following recent flooding in Southern Thailand.
Flooding is a natural occurrence in parts of Northern Peninsular Malaysia and Southern Thailand with continuous rain in the monsoon season.
