MARA Liner Bus Service ML81

MARA Liner Bus Service ML81 or 150 is a local trunk bus service plying between Rawang Bus Terminal and Kuala Lumpur Hab Lebuh Pudu, also known more commonly as Kota Raya or MYDIN. MARA Liner has taken over the bus operations of 150 from Setara Jaya (SJ Bus) from 25 May 2022, which in turn was taken over from Metrobus on 1 September 2015. While the bus service number is still displayed on bus stop signs as 150, MARA Liner seems to have assigned a new service number of ML81 in their timetables.

The timetable of the current MARA Liner Bus Service ML81 is in stark contrast to when Metrobus Bus Service 150 was in operation as part of the Greater Kuala Lumpur Bus Network Revamp (BNR) by then-Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) at a 10-minute frequency throughout the day on this trunk route from 5.15am to 10.15pm.

Personal Observation

The 5pm bus from Rawang to Kuala Lumpur was not observed to be present at Rawang Bus Terminal at just before 5pm during my visit.
