From here, I headed into Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 to catch my flight, under close scrutiny of security and police officers, as only legitimate travellers with a flight departing within 24 hours are allowed into the terminal buildings. Checks for passports and flight itineraries are made at select entrances of the terminal, with some entrances closed for use.

Overall, a quick and efficient journey on the New Lantao Bus Route B4 from HZMB Hong Kong Port to Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1, though I wish that the journey was a bit longer to enjoy more of the new bus. Then again, my check-in time cut-off was nearing, so perhaps that’s not such a good wish after all.
