Gemas-Johor Bahru Electrified Double Track Project (EDTP) Launching Ceremony on 11 December 2025 | Majlis Penyempurnaan dan Pengoperasian Landasan Berkembar Elektrik Gemas-Johor Bahru pada 11 Disember 2025

The Gemas-Johor Bahru Electrified Double Track Project (EDTP) Completion and Operational Launching Ceremony (Majlis Penyempurnaan dan Pengoperasian Landasan Berkembar Elektrik Gemas-Johor Bahru) will take place at Kempas Baru Railway Station on 11 December 2025. The Railway Assets Corporation (RAC) had announced on Facebook that the car park of Kempas Baru Railway Station will be closed from 4 to 14 December 2025 to facilitate the event.

RAC also advises passengers to use public transport to get to Kempas Baru Railway Station, even though there is no public transport serving Kempas Baru Railway Station.

If necessary to drive a vehicle, passengers are advised to park at and use nearby railway stations i.e. Johor Bahru Sentral Railway Station (JB Sentral) or Kulai Railway Station.

Majlis Penyempurnaan dan Pengoperasian Landasan Berkembar Elektrik Gemas-Johor Bahru (EDTP) akan berlangsung di Stesen Keretapi Kempas Baru pada 11 Disember 2025. Perbadanan Aset Keretapi (RAC) telah mengumumkan di Facebook bahawa tempat letak kereta di Stesen Keretapi Kempas Baru akan ditutup dari 4 hingga 14 Disember 2025 bagi memudahkan penganjuran majlis tersebut.

RAC juga menasihatkan penumpang supaya menggunakan pengangkutan awam untuk ke Stesen Keretapi Kempas Baru, walaupun tiada perkhidmatan pengangkutan awam yang beroperasi ke stesen tersebut.

Sekiranya perlu memandu kenderaan, penumpang dinasihatkan supaya meletak kenderaan dan menggunakan stesen berhampiran seperti Stesen Keretapi Johor Bahru Sentral (JB Sentral) atau Stesen Keretapi Kulai.
