MRT Putrajaya Line & LRT Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines Connection by GoKL Maroon Line from Kampung Batu MRT & KTM Station to Sentul LRT Station

GoKL Maroon Line is a free bus service plying between Kampung Batu MRT & KTM Station and Sentul LRT Station. This free bus route connects the MRT Putrajaya Line and the LRT Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines at the former’s current terminus in Phase 1.

From Kampung Batu MRT & KTM Station, GoKL Maroon Line departs from the bus stop along the main road. Follow the sheltered walkway out to the further bus stop.

GoKL Maroon Line is a residential feeder bus route serving PPR Kampung Batu Muda, Batu Muda, Taman Pelangi, Sentul Point, Sentul Pasar, Sentul Bahagia, Sentul Utara, and Sentul Selatan, plying on the main road.

The next batch of passengers heading back home and towards Kampung Batu MRT & KTM Station quickly stand by to board the bus too.

GoKL Maroon Line loops at Sentul LRT Station to go back to Kampung Batu MRT & KTM Station.

My journey on the GoKL Maroon Line free bus service from Kampung Batu MRT & KTM Station to Sentul LRT Station took 29 minutes.

As this is just a looping point, the GoKL Maroon Line bus will not wait long here, so be ready to board once the bus arrives as it is just a regular bus stop and not a terminal.

There is a sheltered walkway between the bus stop and Sentul LRT Station.

From here, the LRT Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines connect directly to downtown Kuala Lumpur.

Conclusion

GoKL Maroon Line is a useful free-of-charge bus service plying between Kampung Batu MRT & KTM Station and Sentul LRT Station enabling essential MRT Putrajaya Line connection with the LRT Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines. Do note that the GoKL Maroon Line bus will get crowded during peak hours as it is also a residential feeder bus for residents staying around Sentul and Kampung Batu.
