Killesbergbahn Stuttgart (Killesberg Railway)
The Killesbergbahn Stuttgart (Killesberg Railway) is a miniature railway located in Killesbergpark (Höhenpark Killesberg) in Stuttgart, Germany. The Killesbergbahn runs on an anti-clockwise 2.1 kilometer loop in Killesbergpark and has a track gauge of 15 inches (381 millimeters).
Killesbergbahn Stuttgart Timetable 2022

I had visited Killesbergbahn Stuttgart just before it started running for the 2022 season, so unfortunately I did not get to experience the ride. With snow constantly pelting down during my visit though, it may also be considered bad weather for wheelslip and the Killesbergbahn might not have ran anyway even if it were an operational day.

The Killesbergbahn Stuttgart station is easily spotted with a ticket booth, railway tracks, and a manual point lever.

A lever near a pedestrian crossing switches the tracks at the Killesbergbahn Stuttgart station.

I got to the empty ticket booth in the snow. Yup, trains are definitely not running.

The platforms at the Killesbergbahn Stuttgart station are level with the tracks.

Both sides of both tracks are paved for easy passenger flow for the miniature railway.

Killesbergpark (Höhenpark Killesberg)

Even without the Killesbergbahn Stuttgart, Killesbergpark is a nice place to be in with vast open spaces just minutes from the city centre. Hopefully, I will have a chance to be back in Stuttgart to try out the Killesbergbahn to complete the railway attractions here.
