King Royal Garden Inn Hotel is a convenient hotel located just outside Surasak BTS Station. As I’ll be using the BTS Silom Line a lot on this trip, I picked this hotel based on location and price for the 3-night stay in Bangkok, which was cheaper than staying in the city and the price difference was reasonable enough to not consider spending a night in a hostel opposite Don Mueang Airport first when arriving from Singapore like how I usually do my late night budget arrivals.
Heading out of Surasak BTS Station, the facade of King Royal Garden Inn can be seen from the exit.

After a quick check-in process, I headed up to my room.
The vast interior of my Superior room. I certainly wasn’t expecting a room of this size.
Coffee, tea and mineral water are provided on a side table beside the full-fledged refrigerator.
The huge King-sized bed in the Superior room.
The long TV rack in the Superior room.
A sofa area is also provided.
The view out of my room looks towards Blue Elephant Bangkok and Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn.
A wardrobe and luggage rack is also provided near the bed side.
Bath and facial towels are placed on the bed.
The toilet is also reasonably huge.
The toilet bowl comes with a side bidet spray.
The sink area is also wide and clean.
Toiletries are provided on a side tray on the sink counter.
A full-sized bathtub is also available.
Water comes from the standing shower with water heater.
The tap for the bath tub isn’t working, but I guess the shower can do the job.
Overall, a rather pleasant stay at King Royal Garden Inn with the huge rooms that can’t be seen in downtown Bangkok any more without paying a premium tag, on top of being almost directly connected to Surasak BTS Station as the hotel was just in front of the staircase up to the station. Despite being an old hotel, the facilities are kept very clean which is great for a comfortable stay.
