KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit Train Service Resumption

KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit train services will resume from Monday, 13 September 2021. Both Express Rail Link train services will run as a combined service at hourly intervals.

The KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit train services had been suspended since Friday, 4th June 2021 due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) 3.0 implementation.

KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit Combined Service Timetable effective Monday, 13 September 2021

The overall operating hours of KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit are from 6am to 10.10pm. Trains will depart from KL Sentral and klia2 on the hour every hour from 6am to 9pm, while the last train will depart 10 minutes off the hour at 10.10pm on both bounds.

KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit Combined Service Journey Time

  • KL Sentral – KLIA: 35 minutes
  • KL Sentral – klia2: 40 minutes
  • KLIA – klia2: 3 minutes
  • KLIA Stop: 2 minutes

KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit Combined Service Frequencies

  • Every 60 minutes

Cross-District Travel between Kuala Lumpur, Selangor & Putrajaya

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya will transition to Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan on Friday (Sept 10). Cross-district travel between Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya will be allowed and all roadblocks will be lifted. Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya would be merged as one COVID-19 infection area.
