KTM ETS Additional Chinese New Year 2025 & School Holidays Trains
KTM Berhad (KTMB) will operate 2 additional ETS train services on the KL Sentral – Padang Besar – KL Sentral route in conjunction with Chinese New Year 2025 celebrations and school holidays. Tickets for these additional ETS train services will go on sale starting 3 January 2025 (Friday) at 10:00 AM. These trains will operate for 19 days in total, offering 630 seats daily, including the Business Class option. A total of 11,970 seats will be available throughout this period.

These additional ETS trains aim to cater to the high demand, especially during festive and school holiday seasons. It aligns with KTMB and the government’s commitment to providing comfortable and safe public transport while helping to alleviate traffic congestion often experienced during holiday periods.
KTMB advises passengers to secure their tickets early to avoid last-minute disappointments. Passengers are also encouraged to arrive at the station in advance for a smoother documentation and boarding process, ensuring a more seamless and comfortable journey.
As of 1 January 2025, KTMB has fully transitioned to a cashless ticketing system. Tickets can be purchased conveniently via the KTM Mobile app (KITS), self-service kiosks, or the official KTMB website at www.ktmb.com.my.
