MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line Rail Replacement Bus Service: Sungai Buloh MRT Station – Kampung Selamat MRT Station – Kwasa Sentral MRT Station
As the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line will run on a portion of the current MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line between Kwasa Damansara MRT Station and Sungai Buloh MRT Station in future, three MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line stations will be closed when necessary to facilitate MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line system migration works. These are Kwasa Damansara MRT Station, Kampung Selamat MRT Station and Sungai Buloh MRT Station.
During such closure, MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line train services will end at Kwasa Sentral MRT Station and free MRT shuttle bus services will be provided between Kwasa Sentral MRT Station, Kampung Selamat MRT Station and Sungai Buloh MRT Station. There is no replacement service to and from Kwasa Damansara MRT Station on these occasions.

The Rail Replacement Bus Service is formed of existing MRT feeder buses.
While there is no dedicated LED display for the Rail Replacement Bus Service, the route information is placed on the windscreen by the door to easily distinguish it from regular MRT feeder bus services.
The Rail Replacement Bus Service route can be found on the LCD screens inside the bus too.

The Rail Replacement Bus Service departs every 10 minutes, similar to the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line frequency.

Arrived at Kwasa Sentral MRT Station. The Rail Replacement Bus Service journey from Sungai Buloh MRT Station to Kwasa Sentral MRT Station took 13 minutes, 6 minutes slower than the MRT train which would take just 7 minutes.

From here, you can head up to continue onwards on the unaffected portion of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line between Kwasa Sentral and Kajang.
Overall, the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line Rail Replacement Bus Service between Sungai Buloh MRT Station and Kwasa Sentral MRT Station was well-organised by MRT Corp and Rapid KL, though it’s unfortunate that most if not all passengers will not see the SSP Line major works being carried out at Kwasa Damansara and will not appreciate this slight inconvenience for the better future of MRT links in the Klang Valley.
