SRT Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train Resumes Train Services From 15 July 2022
The State Railway of Thailand Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train will resume regular operations from Friday, 15 July 2022. This comes after the relaxation of travel restrictions to Thailand and Malaysia. The SRT Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train had been suspended since 18 March 2020 at the start of the 2020–21 Malaysia Government Movement Control Order due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Hat Yai Railway Station Police announced the resumption of the SRT Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train on their Facebook Page on 9 July 2022.
Tickets for the SRT Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train will cost 50 Baht per person.
The timetable of the SRT Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train remains the same as before.

KTM Berhad confirmed the resumption of the SRT Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train restart on their Facebook Page on 13 July 2022. Along with the announcement, KTM Berhad also included suggested trains to transfer to and from the SRT Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train.
